Peach Properties rated 5 stars by B Chris
Bethnal Green is the spiritual heart of London’s East End. Lying on the eastern fringes of the City, it not only attracts a growing number of young, single media professionals and artists but is also home to families that have lived in the area for generations.
As an independent estate and lettings agent in Bethnal Green, Peach Properties has been helping vendors, property purchasers, landlords and tenants to sell, buy, let and rent residential and commercial property in Bethnal Green and the surrounding areas of Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Hoxton, Old Street, Columbia Road, Hackney, the City and Canary Wharf for over 15 years.
In that time, we have developed an in-depth knowledge of this part of east London and seen it develop from an area of affordability to one that now draws a wide range of property buyers, from financiers, lawyers and other professionals keen to live within walking distance of the City to families looking to put down roots in this incredibly well connected part of London that also has a good range of schools, including Bethnal Green Academy that has been ranked “outstanding” by Ofsted inspectors.
And because of our local know-how, we can not only help you turn your property dreams into reality but also share tips on where to find the best coffee, who to go to if you need an extra set of keys cut and, of course, where to find the best curry on nearby Brick Lane.
Here at Peach Properties we’re passionate about finding the right home or commercial premises for our clients and have a diverse mix of property for sale in Bethnal Green, including swish loft spaces, warehouse conversions, modern gated developments and Grade II-listed two and three bedroom Victorian terraced homes.
But bohemian Bethnal Green’s great transport links (it’s just one stop on the Central Line from the multiple travel links of Liverpool Street) and diverse range of galleries, boutiques, independent businesses, bars and restaurants are not the only reason this area is highly recommended if you’re looking to set up home here.
Our pick of the best
As your local go-to experts, we thought to give you three of our favourite locations in Bethnal Green.
1. The Grade II-listed Boundary Estate, which has stood for 125 years, is not only the world’s oldest example of social housing but also lays claim to being one of the most architecturally unique.
2. The V&A Museum of Childhood houses the UK’s national collection of childhood objects. Rare, hand-crafted objects dating back to the 1600s sit alongside well-loved toys from the 20th century, allowing an insight into how different children might have lived, thought and felt, through the objects they were surrounded by throughout their childhood.
3. Bethnal Green’s former town hall is now an upmarket boutique hotel that has retained the Edwardian building’s Art Deco features and now combines stately sweeping staircases, marble flooring, high ceilings, generously proportioned apartment-style rooms and a decadent brass, marble-clad swimming pool with bling chandeliers and contemporary art.
Our experienced and knowledgeable team of property professionals is based in a former Victorian men’s public loo just up the road from Bethnal Green in the heart of Shoreditch. So, give us a call, send us an email, or pop into our office for a chat and a cuppa. We’ll be happy to help you fulfil your property aspirations.
