A well-presented 46ft 1983 Springer narrowboat, offered with the highly desirable opportunity to take over a mooring in Hackney, East London, close to the ever-popular Broadway Market. Mooring fees are currently £717 p/m
The boat has a warm, characterful interior with plenty of individuality. It has been thoughtfully fitted out using a mixture of traditional and reclaimed materials, including beautiful reclaimed timber from Tower Bridge, which adds a genuine piece of London history and gives the interior a distinctive and homely feel.
The accommodation has a comfortable, practical feel, making good use of the boat’s 46ft length. The interior combines the charm and character expected of a traditional narrowboat with useful modern conveniences, including a fridge/freezer, water heater and multi-fuel stove. The stove provides a cosy focal point and makes the boat particularly inviting during the colder months.
The reclaimed wood detailing throughout gives the accommodation warmth and character, while the layout provides a versatile space that could work equally well as a permanent home, London pied-à-terre, weekend retreat or liveaboard.
